Biography

Ever since taking her first photography class in elementary school, Madeline has felt most at ease with a camera in hand. Whether wandering the forests of her home state of Vermont, exploring the rugged terrain and robust wildlife of the western U.S., or taking photos of friends and pets, she's always searching for that ideal shot.

Madeline recently wrapped up a degree in Wildlife Biology (and Reporting & Documentary Storytelling) at the University of Vermont. Her goal is to do wildlife research, then integrate multimedia with her findings. She hopes this will help bridge the gap between public understanding and the hard work done by professionals in the field.
